CPU and OS
You can choose between several single- or multicore machines which are equipped with Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista, Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2008 Server.
Replacement computers
Because our servers use a standard configuration, we can replace failed computers very quickly. We have enough computers for replacement.
 Backup: system and strategy
Our backup server Spectra Logic 10000 AIT2 has a capacity of 5.2 Terybyte and is equipped with Retrospect.
The backup is done on two sets of AIT2 tapes. A complete backup of all data from all servers is done every month on one set of AIT2 tapes. The second set of tapes is stored safely.
An incremental backup is executed every night. We are able to access to backups up to two weeks old.
